Making L4D2 Work!!

I no longer have the files nor the game showed on this video, but if you guys stll want to play you should check out Garena's or epcgaming's forums to see where and how you can get the game for free.

The following instructions are optional.*****

PLS READ DESCRIPTION!! I have tested the following tutorial with this version of the game http://www.mininova.org/tor/3174152 I know that it is a little messy, I apologize. This is my 1st tutorial so I tried my best to make it easy to understand.If you have any questions or comments feel free to ask. Also I forgot to add in the tutorial from where to start the game, you can either run it "RUN_L4D2" found in the game folder or the shortcut that the patch will put in your desktop, either way it should work.

You can download the Clien.dll from here. So you don't have to go on steam and download the demo anymore.

This is the FIX/PATCH it fixes the chain saw and cola problem, Also extract it somewhere like told in the vid and remove the clien.dll found in it :

If the tutorial and the links from above didn't work try this with after a clean install.

1. Download this file http://www.mediafire.com/?zv2tuootbjz

2. There are 4 files inside. Copy the server.dll from the .zip and the client.dll from the description to \Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\bin (No to \Left 4 Dead 2\bin\!!!!).

3. . Copy the other 3 files found in the link to the Steam directory (\Program Files\Steam\).

4. . Now, open launcher.exe from Steam directory and log in.

5. Finally, open left4dead.exe from Left 4 Dead 2 directory and enjoy the game :)

PS: You obviously need to have steam installed for this lil guide to work.

no... like i said there are lots of guides out there on how to make the game work over LAN. Just go on Garena's forums and look for a tutorial. >_<
