This is the most effective workout Ever! I have lost two stone in just three months....amazing exercise. I walk for 1 min 10secs and then sprint for 40 secs, I do this ten times, the results are amazing and very fast. I use to jogg not very effective at all, I now do this only three times a week it takes me around 22 mins each session. I can't praise it high enough....fantastic.

@xboxking92 Not more than 3 times per week, else you may not fully recover from one workout to the next and cannot maximise your potential.

Yes you may. But if you do it outdoors, you are subject to weather conditions.
Also, running on hard ground outdoors is actually bad for the knees. If you get a good treadmill, it should help reduce impact on your knees.

can i just do normal interval training? i mean will it still get me results even if it takes longer?

@dogstyle2222 You won't. You gotta push your heart rate (metabolism) up for max burning of fats.
