shouldn't cooling oil be used? I thought working a piece, that hard, that quickly without lubricant would dull the bit in seconds.

I am filled with admiration for the people who can design,manufacture and programme a machine like this.I am a layman in this area and have not the slightest idea how this is done.

i work as cnc machinist DOOSAN 400L I never the machine without a coolant....in this video the machine in dry condition.

So embarrassing. That first cut demonstrates how weak this machine really is. This machine cannot compete with the Mori NT1000 or NT2000....not even close!

@TexasAceAA - This demo is some years old now, and it produced several orders from NASCAR teams around the nation. I believe cycle time was under 3 hours, including the angled, gun-drilled oil holes. Before this, teams had no flexibility and needed to order cranks months in advance. The Integrex allowed race teams to have a new crank each week to meet track conditions. The machine revolutionized the sport.
