Josh Carpenter makes his comeback to the sport of wrestling in this thrilling video of his first match of the intramural tournament.
28 years old and on the skids, Josh decided to go back to the only thing he knows: wrestling. With a collegiate record of 0-1 and not having wrestled competitively for over 10 years, Josh was taking a gamble. From the start no one wanted to see him succeed and many dismissed him as a has been. Weighing in at 196.5 lbs (60 lbs more than his high school weight of 135), the cards were stacked against Josh.
Enter Eric Jacobson, an 18 year old freshman fresh off of his senior year season at Glenbrook High. As one of the best wrestlers last year in the state of Illinois, he threatened to end Josh's career before it could even restart.
Will Josh persevere and get a win? Or will he suffer the same fate he did in the intramural tournament of 2007? Watch and see!
Don't forget to check back for his round 2 match which will be on Feb 11th.
the description of this video doesn't make sense. it says he hasn't competed in over 10 years, but then goes on to mention that he competed in this tournament in 2007. either way not very impressive.

@seanstertmonster He did wrestle at the intramural tournament in 2007 but didn't even last a minute. Before that though, the last time he wrestled was high school.
