My Pirates Of The Black Tide VSA routine. Three of the 18 or so skulls tha' will be singin', talkin'an' insultin' TOT'ers. Uses a Lindberg skull, 4 Hitec HS-425BB servos, Lynxmotion SSC-32 controller board and VSA to run it all.

  • Thanks Akira, it was sooo much fun watching these guys come alive =)

  • the skulls can also be found at most hobby stores that sell plastic models, but not HobbyLobby-type stores.. the skulls are Lindberghs.. lightweight, plastic.. the heavier resin med-student type are Bucky's.. much heavier, more expensive. Bucky's are abt $30/ea.. Lindberghs, abt $15 in the store, or abt $10 thru group buys (larger quantitys)

  • The skulls were abt $110/ea to build.. the main cost were the servos.. the hardware .. skulls themselves are abt $10/ea from a group buy on halloween forum dot com. linages were abt $15.. plexiglass plate, abt $15 for the 2' x 2' sheet..
