سکینه آشتیانی: شکنجه نشده‌ام

تلویزیون ایران برای دومین بار در شهریور ماه ۱۳۸۹ه، با زنی مصاحبه کرده که گفته می‌شود سکینه محمدی آشتیانی است. خانم آشتیانی به اتهام زنای محصنه و قتل همسرش، محکوم به سنگسار و زندان شده است.
در این مصاحبه که روز چهارشنبه ۲۵ شهریور از شبکه دوم سیمای جمهوری اسلامی پخش شد، این زن می‌گوید به اختیار خود در مقابل دوربین قرار گرفته و شکنجه نشده است.
او هم‌چنین در این مصاحبه، خبر تحمل ۹۹ ضربه شلاق به جرم انتشار عکسی بی‌حجاب در روزنامه تایمز لندن را تکذیب کرد.
روزنامه تایمز، چندی پیش عکس زنی را چاپ و او را سکینه محمدی آشتیانی معرفی کرده بود اما این روزنامه بعدا نوشت عکس، متعلق به زن محکوم به سنگسار نیست و به خاطر اشتباه در انتشار آن از خوانندگانش عذرخواهی کرد.

The Iranian woman facing death by stoning after being convicted for adultery appeared on the Islamic republic's state TV channel on 15 September 2010 to say she has not been whipped or tortured.
Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, whose stoning sentence was suspended in July, was allegedly given 99 lashes on 2 September after the Times ran a picture of an unveiled woman mistakenly identified as her, her lawyer said at the time.
"I have not been tortured, at all. All these words are my own words. Nobody has forced me to appear before camera and whatever I say is my own words," said a blurry image of a woman identified as Ashtiani in brief video footage.
Speaking in her native Azeri language she said reports that she had been lashed for the photograph were "false and rumours." Her words were subtitled in Farsi.
