pieadngravy1, what are you talking about? It's not like European teams walk all over USA and Mexico. Germany whom has reached the most finals in World Cups, always has trouble beating Mexico. Italy didn't beat USA in the last World Cup. So what is this "superiority" that you're talking about? Portugal, barely beat Mexico in the last World Cup and I thought that they were the best team in the tournament.
I can say though, that Brazil and Argentina have walked all over us many times.

you still are a nobody in international football - i'm not trying to provoke, but it's a fact. having lived in norway, i think the standards of the leagues are probably quite similar. the only reason the US qualify for world cups etc is because of the pathetic qualification system over there. the other teams just can't compete. but good luck for the future, it all seems to be growing over there, so maybe the next generation or so will be able to compete at the highest level. who knows... :)

how can you talk about our league norway doesn't really have a good league either but saying that americans can't play football is ignorant people only say some country can't play until they start to fear what they can become where was all this american sucks at football in the 90's when we were nobody

how bad are the referees in the us? some of those decisions just look pathetic. and why wait about 5 seconds before blowing for the penalty?! have watched football for all of my life and can't remember seeing anything as strange as that. america - stick to baseball, american football, and basketball...and leave the rest to the rest of the world!!
