It's all a crapshoot really. It may or may not work. The phone will never be the same. Corrosion will set in and potential shorting and componet malfunctions and failures will happen. Potential fire hazard from excessive current draw when charging and shock hazard. Best to use insurance or get a new phone.

@xDlaughterDx 2 hours for a completely soaked phone is no where near enough. Water is much harder to evaporate out of enclosed spaces - give it 48 hours or more. Good luck :)

Yeahh well my mom put my pants in the whashing mashine (whith my phone in the back pocket) and it was in their for about Thirty minuites.. do you think this is fixible? i took the phone apart and put it over a air vent in my house and its been their for maybe 2 hours and it still doesnt come on? like the screen comes on for like 2 secounds and goes off.. and i know for a fact its not dead.. any help?
