QUESTION, I noticed he put the CPU cooler with the fan facing out, Is that the right way to put it? Ive got the exact same CPU cooler and the techncian that built my machine put it the opposite way of how he put it, facing in. Pls reply, thanks!.

hi, canadaman. I placed the cooler so that it'd blow towards the holes in the back of the case, to vent the hot air. The cooler's fan pulls air away from the CPU, so you want to sent that air to the nearest exit.

If I were you, I would just leave it. It's not that terrible that it's pointed a sub-optimum way, as opposed to the probs you;ll have if u try to remove. U gotta have lithium grease, for one, cause you;ll have to clean and regrease. And there's a chance you;ll break the clips. Plus, you gotta remove the mobo to really get at the cooler/heatsink. So in this case discretion is the better part of valor. Try Lavalysys' Everest or Asus ulit (if asus board) as see what cpu temp you're getting.

intel basically raped everybody when the came out with the i7's because they were somewhat unexpectedly released while this thing was still in mass production, but outperformed the core 2 extreme's and cost a fraction, which meant, that sellers couldn't afford to liquidate the price of this cpu as they had invested too much money in a large stock of them. You do a google search for them and they hit around $1500, 1.5x the cost of a 980x

multi is up to x.50.5
