Did they also at one time teach that your blood contained your sin as well? So to have a blood transfusion was to take on someone else's sin.
They dropped this ridiculous teaching and kept the Blood doctrine because to do away with it would mean that those who died from this, died in vain. Anyone who died because of not recieving a Blood transfusion one week before the doctrine change would bring on Lawsuits galore from the families...
