this is something i just made up (maybe somebody already has made this up?) after learning the pentatonic blues scale in e, 0th pattern. i'm just a beginner, but please give me tips of things i might be doing wrong and/or could do better =)
this was recorded using quick capture, with a cable in the microphone (line in) connected to the record out/headphones jack in the back of my roland micro cube (which is friggin awesome by the way =)
all i'm really doing is plucking the 6th string, open, then hammering on (?) to the 3rd fret on the same string, then on the 5th string i am hammering on from open to the 2nd fret, then plucking thereafter the 4th string 2nd fret.. the rest after that is just going up and down the e pentatonic blue scale, 0th pattern, here:

  • hardly any good well the start any ways

  • what hear is that hondo

  • do like this: sing ( with your voice ) over a blues backing track. Then try to play with the guitar what you sing with your voice.

  • i can, just improvize

  • I know scales....... I just can't make em sound good or turn them into a solo. Keep practicing.

  • wtf i have it cranked up all the way and i still couldent hear it :(

  • Hey dude, I have a video that you might like. I teach you how to do some basic blues that you could do through flat 7's and scales.

This was pretty good, I advise a little more diversity in your song.

    just my tips...

  • i like that but you should try to put more umf into it so it could sound awesome

all in all its pretty good

  • tHE Blues power, Blues explosion :P Just like John Spencer :D
