These recordings are what was transmitted over-the-air on K6BEN amateur television (ATV) station repeater of the 2008 Veterans Day Parade in San Jose, CA. K6BEN covers the south San Francisco bay area on over-the-air cable channel 57 or 421.25MHz.

These are a few clips recorded on VHS by Chuck N6VFH at his home. Three different cameras were used, two of them transmitted UHF simplex from CATV modulators to the video platform which re-transmits on 1255MHz to K6BEN ATV repeater station. There is footage showing equipment used.

Video from modulators (UHF simplex) were overdeviated, we had not adjusted those outputs. Also the composite output of Sansui probably over-deviates the 1255MHz ATV transmitter.

Note that all cameras and ATV transmissions were powered by batteries and gel-cells, we were independent of infrastructure power.

Camera 1: Gordon KI6DSD, reviewing stand platform
Camera 2: Michael K6MFW, ENG camera
Camera 3: Don KK6MX, roving camera (not fed to K6BEN)
Camera 4: Ben W2NYC, direct feed camera
Logistics/Runner: Byron KG6UOB
Offsite Utility/DVD recording: Joe WB6RIY
Offsite Utility/VHS recording: Chuck N6VFH

More descriptions later.
