  • How long does this take to charge? Would it be an inconvenience on a 10 day cycling trip. There are power points that you can pay to use for $2 but do charge it everyday aswel as my iPhone, is it worth it? I might get it anyway for just casual rides but it would be really cool to use it for this ride.

  • @ChazRose77 It charges in about 2 hrs, and lasts good for about 6 hours. So it's all preference.

  • My Cy-fi finally arrived and I absolutly love it! I haven't yet taken it out on the bike, but that will likely happen very soon. I did get the mount hooked up, so at least that's ready to go. My only disapointment is that for some odd reason the power supply wasn't included. I plan on contacting Cy-fi in the morning to find out if this was an error. I did get the USB cable, but I would have thought it would have come with the power supply as well.

  • @phoenix6652 oh nice!! and ya it only comes with the power cord and no power supply, but then again you can use any one that has a usb plug in. Such as most phone chargers and what not, or even your computer if necessary. It's quiet impressive for such a small speaker, but you will love it out on rides.

  • @JonTrx450 I just went ahead and ordered a two port USB wall charger at Amazon.com. They say it can do 5 volts 2 amps per port which is fantastic because this will easily feed both the Touch and my Cy-fi without a hitch. This also will allow me to free up an outlet as well as I won't need my Apple iPod power plug anymore. The only thing I'm worried about is that the Cy-fi's usb cable is a bit short. Know where I can get a longer one?

  • @phoenix6652 Im not exactly sure where but it should be pretty easy to find a longer one since, the charger cord is a universal one used for a lot of different items. You could probably order one from amazon, or even best buy or something will probably have what you are looking for.

  • Hey mate. I just did a bit of a review of the Bluetooth one. Been pretty happy with it. Had it for about 6 months.

  • I just got one, but it doesn't connect to my Ipod Touch 4g :( quite annoying, you would expect it to work with future versions!

  • By the way, the controls on the Cy-fi do control the iPod Touch. I did a little further digging and found that the mic even works! In fact the mic on the Touch is disabled when the speaker is activated.

  • You can get one at Woot.com today for $40. I ordered the blu-tooth version for my iPod Touch. Yeah I know the battery life is shorter than the one meant for iPod's, but I didn't want the extra dongle that can be lost easily. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether or not if the controls work with the iPod Touch. I'd think they should since the controls work with the iPhone.
