New ATC FAA 9-11 WTC Audio Files Released.
This contains raw 9-11 ATC audio recordings from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad) and American Airlines from the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. The recordings, some of which have been published previously, are being released in a multimedia report put together originally to be part of the Sept. 11 Commission's 2004 report.

Betty Ong, a flight attendant on American Airlines Flight 11 from Boston to Los Angeles, speaks to American Airlines reservations agents at its Southeastern Reservations Office in Cary, N.C., and Nydia Gonzalez, an operations agent, using a seatback Airfone from the back of the plane.

Number 3 in the back. Um, the cockpit's not answering. Somebody's stabbed in business class, and um I think there is Mace that we can't breathe. I don't know, I think we're getting hijacked.

Which flight are you on?
Betty Ong
Flight 12.
Aal
And what seat are you in? [Silence] Ma'am, are you there?
Betty Ong
Yes.
Aal
What seat are you in? [pause] Ma'am, what seat are you in?

We just left Boston, we're up in the air.

We're supposed to go to L.A. and the cockpit's not answering their phone ...

  • washington was the only place that could give shoot down orders, they changed it in June and after 9/11 they changed it back. notice how shocked they are that washington is not taking this serious? all that was missing from the transcripts for some reason, but now its all there. Bush was sitting infront of the class. donald rumsfeld was doing a photo shoot on the lawn of the pentagon. Dick cheney ran the operation from the bunker.

  • Can somebody explain why it takes so long to scramble the F18s and why the woman who is being asked to deploy them is being kind of obnoxious about the ATC guy's lack of info? I understand that it was an unbelievably confusing and high pressure situation but it seems like the communication breakdown could have been avoided. As soon as Betty called why didn't they scramble *immediately*? I know the plane's transponder was turned off but couldn't they use military radar -

  • Betty Ong has such grace under pressure, I can't imagine being able to relay information in a situation like that. I have such respect and admiration for her and the other flight attendants and pilots as well as the heroic passengers that tried to help foil the hijackers' plans. May they rest in peace and may we never forget them.

  • @musicom67 I know that Popular Science debunked the theories with fact. I have studied this from day one. So you found plenty of proof? Give me one, just one example of your proof. Remember, proof means proving something did or didn't happen beyond any doubt. You say you have some, then present it. If you don't respond, then I know where your credibility lies.

A magazine workforce figured this all out.... btw... the 1,000+ engineers are at Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth website...Study this crap for 10 years and you'll find PLENTY of proof. Don't create confusion by claiming facts are not on anyone's side...What exactly do YOU know?
