Satisfaction (live)

The Roots Of Funk is a sort of project or a band with different line-ups and different musical funk-approaches (70s, jazz etc) that I put together from time to time when I feel that deep urge within to express the funk inside of me hehe. It´s always there of course but as a freelance bassplaying musician in Stockholm it´s not sp easy to make a living on that urge, so you have to be part of a lot of other things than pure funk. Anyway The Roots Of Funk is a way for me (us) to pay homage, enlighten and to bring forth the best grooves and at the same time being totaly egoistic for my own sake as a creative musician. =)
Here we are performing Wendy And Lisas "Satisfaction". The gig took place on a special "80s Funk Night" at jazzclub Fasching in Stockholm (100405).
A great idea for a club, combining people dressing up, 80s drinks in the bar, 80s DJ-ing, projections on the wall playing Purple Rain, Beatstreet or other retro 80s films...just loved it.
