Makino's new ADVANTiGE technologies provide a degree of machining efficiency that no other Titanium technology has offered in the past. By improving spindle performance, coolant delivery, vibration dampening, machine rigidity and cutting strategies, ADVANTiGE is capable of four times the productivity and double the tool life of conventional machining technologies.

In this video, a Makino T4 with ADVANTiGE utilizes full five-axis machining capabilities to face mill the top of an aerospace edge frame component. The T4's extra rigid machine and spindle construction combined with ADVANTiGE technologies eliminate vibration for improved tool life and higher metal removal rates.
