LoQuai - Are You Scared - Mistique Music

Loquai returns to Mistique Music for their 64th release with his Ethen EP.

The release of this EP follows his superb DNA album and great remixes for Ozgur Ozkan and Michael, Levan and Stiven Rivic. Loquai's production career essentially started in 2005 was asked by a smaller and new label from germany (Ultimate House Rec.) to release his tracks on the label. His first release was "Loquai - Loquai E.p." which was also released in 2005. From that point on the Loquai name slowly began to build in the scene. From 2006-2008 he worked on many remix projects for several labels but in late 2008 he teamed up with the newly formed Mistique Music and his productions rose to a new and even greater level.


The Ethen EP starts off with 'Are You Scared' which is a gorgeous, lush piece of phat progressive house. A supremely deep and melodic track of very high quality, definitely something you would here in the early hours of most top DJs sets. 'Kaoss' is up next and the energy level really rises with this track. A driving, energetic dancefloor tune with great flow and nice clattering drums. Smart melodies and a very good sense of restrait keep this track super cool and one for the educated dancefloors out there. 'Massive' is as the title suggests a releatively big track. A large pulsating bassline with alot of bounce lays the foundation while the epic chords introduced in the breakdown push the track over the top and most trancier dancefloor should eat this up! The EP closes with 'Summer' which is a funky blissed out progressive house tune with an amazing positive vibe. Definately a summer track which woul dsound amazing at an open air party in the sunshine. Great EP from LoQuai and Mistique!
