Orienteering is a "thinking sport" that requires using a map and compass to run, walk, ski, or bike from point to point across unfamiliar terrain -- and to do it as quickly as possible. Originally a Nordic military training exercise, orienteering has grown into an international passtime that people of all ages and fitness levels can enjoy.
