A Necessary Evil

A video I did for school. I do not agree with all wars, but some are necessary. NOT THE IRAQ WAR. Support our troops!

Due to some confusion, I must clarify my view of war, as the video does not clearly show it. I believe that some wars are necessary, but most are not. Consider WWI which made the USA a superpower. WWII brought us out of the Great Depression, and kept Hitler's Nazism from spreading around the globe. Wars are not all bad. Unfortuantely, most are. The Iraq War is NOT RIGHT! It was made on false pretenses and lies to the American public. Bush should be impeached... but that's another video.

I used pictures from the Iraq War because they are more relevant to today's society than old, faded, b&w photos. Not because I want to glorify the invasion of a country. The quotes help to clarify my stance. Read them carefully.

Please enjoy, but if you disagree with my opinion, feel free to keep it to yourself. I don't need to hear it.

It's not about supporting the government that sends the troops, it's not about supporting the orders our troops follow in the service, but the TROOPS. MEN and WOMEN who volunteer their lives for this fair country, men and women out there risking their lives for those who dont feel like it. The men and women in the service are our warriors, our protectors, our fighters, they are nothing less than that

Agreed. The government has brought us into this war, which is unjust and wrong, but it lays on the shoulders of the military to carry out their orders. One cannot fault their undying courage and allegience to America.

The the invasion of iraq was and is not justified. War can sometime be justified, but not this one.

No i think it is very neccesary. There are people who don't give a shit about anything. They will kill us all we need to fight not negotiate. You cant negotiate with terrorists
