新幹線から撮った動画。23区を通って京都駅周辺まで。

Just a bit of video from the Shinkansen as it leaves the greater Tokyo area and into Kyoto.

  • how much did the ticket cost cause i really can't read what it says.

  • Right below "HIKARI" there is a line that says "¥***". It was SO EXPENSIVE!! that they couldn't even print the price in the space provided.

Or, option 2, I got this ticket with my JR Rail Pass, which means there was no cost (other than the Rail Pass, of course).

I actually don't know what a ticket on Hikari service costs. The last time I bought a ticket it was Nozomi, Green Car, Shin-Osaka to Tokyo was about ¥18,900, or just a shade under $200.

  • VVVF音で気づいたのですが、これは300系ではないでしょうか?

  • Last September when I was there, a 2 week JR pass was $600. This covers JR trains, but you will most likely need to pay a bit more riding Tokyo subway lines. May sound like a lot, but the JR pass saves you heaps if your travelling out of Tokyo & it is also only available to Gaigine visiting the country. My wife is a citizen, but is still able to get one, coz she's an Australian permanent resident. She always buys one for the duration of her visit home, it saves you heaps.

  • jesus christ :| and how much would a JR Rail Pass cost? Also is there requirements to get it? Gaijin Card ect.

  • It never got to me either. If you want to study in Japan, there's lots of opportunities available.

  • Ah~Nothing much really, just wanted to say what average Malaysians think Japan as...of course a highly developed country...full of wonders : ).I envy you guys that have the chance to study in Japan or have a family there just like Jonathan...i don't mind Japanese calling me gaijin in school...haha

  • Sorry!

In your comment you basically just said (in Chinese), Japan = Developed Country. I then asked if you were just pointing that out or if there was something else you were trying to say. I wasn't sure.

  • Sorry...私はある初心者in 日本语。。翻訳して下さい what you wrote??Thank you

  • 中国語ですね。んまぁ、確かに日本は先進的な国ですね。

    でも、「日本=先進国」ということを示すだけか、それとも他に深い意味がありますか。
