I saw the movie last week, and it's soo deep and there were some parts that i was just so upset atbecuz of what happened 2 precious, i was scared, felt like cryin', it's a really good movie, this movie definitely deserve an oscar for real. if this movie doesn't get nominated 4 an oscar, than people don't kno' a good movie when they see one. I think monique should win best supportin' actress, becuz she's not the main character in the movie. oh and skorpion, have u ever heard of "american violet"?

Another touching one is For Colored Girls. My god, that was a fantastic movie, left me breathless at parts. The climax, with the kids, and then the part between red (Janet Jackson) and her husbands, woo-ee! Those are my favorite scenes.

the movie is scary, funny, hurtful, its a ver good film, i cant believe critics gave some negative review, monique was crazy good, she deserve some type of award!!

I faced my fears and watched the movie, and it was great! It wasn't that horrible untill the end when you see how ignorant and delusional the mother really is. But I wonder why someone would say that girls are precious? As I recall it men have been born into just the same, if not worst broken homes filled with ignorance, inbreed incest than the Precious portrayed in the movie. But eh I'm just a humanist, not a feminist.
