What a crappy version. Awful sound, things the kids will enjoy like giant spiders and scary scary mummies...just awful.

Sega CD SOTB 2 was easier than the Amiga....as well as having a totally crappy redone sountrack. Genesis SOTB 2 was really easy, but is was basically the Amiga version with a purple mace and crappier graphics. This is good and bad at the same time...just as difficult as the Amiga(tougher, but with continues)but the music, while being the same tunes redone...isn't as flashy.

Sega CD SOTB 2 was easy as shit, don't bother posting a quick play. This was the only version of Shadow of the Beast I could never beat. I like the end boss...much more challenging than a extremely slow giants foot.

What about Beast 2? The Sega CD version is pretty spiffy, with nice cutscenes and voice acting - ever thought about giving it a go?
