Coleman versus Comanche

The Comanche Indians defeated the Coleman Bluecats 49-13 Friday night at Hufford Field in Coleman. This was the first district game of the year for both schools and a large crowd attended.

The game was tied 7-7 until midway through the 2nd quarter when Comanche scored another touchdown. The Indians led 21-7 at half.

Coleman touchdowns came at 3:14 in the first quarter, an impressive 70 run by Andrew Isom. Miguel Vazquez kicked the extra point to take an early 7-0 lead.

Coleman's only other touchdown was a 16 yard pass from Logan Owens to Trent Hambright with 1:03 remaining in the 3rd quarter. The extra point attempt failed.
