anyone who thinks dave mustaine could play like this is a freaken fool,

when kirk plays fast he plays very clear note to note,when dave plays fast he

sounds like a mess,his solos are out of focus and just sounds bad .

and this solo kills anything dave has ever done..sorry sad but true

@kingv911 right on bro,it's true,but kirk technically he can do everything

but he is more the type to do a solo that serves the song right,even if it

means not showing his fullest capability,because even james and lars

don't want him to do just any kind of solo,they want him to solo for what

sounds best for the song,but dave mustain just wants to shredd fast in

all his solos even if it dosen't serve the song right,that's the difference

between the 2.

@cromaticas And besides, memorable solos add the touch and feel to a song, I hardly hear any memorable solos from Dave. (Maybe a few if that). Tornado of Souls = Marty, A Tout le Monde = Marty, basically anything off Rust, their best album = Marty, and yes Marty can rip the balls of Dave easily in lead playing as with Kirk.

@cromaticas Dave isn't that great, at least at lead. I'm sick of people comparing Dave and Kirk, where people argue Dave is better because he doesn't use pentatonic scales, yet almost every solo from him I've seen is mostly blues based pentatonic runs. Marty, Chris Broderick, and Poland are the great leads in Megadeth, not Dave. And Marty admires Kirk. Dave and Kirk are both way overrated, but Kirk is better, feel free to message me if you disagree, I'll gladly teach you about music.
