Quite. but what was wrong with bowers? The johanna reprise was quite a fine piece. He has quite a great sounding voice, although Ive never heard the other anthony from the musical. Wisener did sound like sleeping beauty...
-
Probably, yeah. Depp and Carter, while fantastic actors, are not singers. But neither is Rickman and he pulled his stuff off rather well. I was really impressed by Cohen. Wisener and Bowers I hated. Kelly wasn't great. Spall was good.
All in all, Ed Sanders gave the best vocal performance.
-
Ok, you can at least agree with me on the fact that Ed was probably the best singer in the entire movie (although I did enjoy everyone's performance immensely)
-
Depends on the version. The Toby from the 1979 version isn't everyone's favourite. He's kinda weird, I guess. Manoel Felciano (the Toby from the 2005 revival) is brilliant, unmatched in my opinion. Sanders is great, especially for his age, and I liked their take on the Toby character, but he isn't my fave. He still needs more experience. And different facial expressions.

I wasnt quite fond of the play... but im not gona say johnny depp is the greatest singer, cause although he sounded great he did growl a bit in some of his songs. Its funny because the best singer in this movie is probably the most obscure and unknown, Ed sanders I would say sung the best in this movie. (you cannot tell me the tobi from the play is better than this tobi or you sir have a strange opinion lol)

lol wtf? intranet?
internet? i dnt no lol

HEY GUYS! THIS IS THE INTRANET! quit trying to act all hardcore with the keyboard. and damn, Johnny Depp is sexy.
-
OK if given the oppertunity to watch the play ,i would of course go and see it. All I'm saying is that a Tim Burton film with Johnny Depp in it seems hard to top but i will take ur word for it that the play is spectacular. I have no doubt that it is an amazing play with amazing people in it. I really think that we need to end this conversation because it has gotten us no where. agreed?
-
Probably because you're being so offended from something that started off as a mere dissention of opinions. I say Hearn, you say Depp. And then I say "How bout you watch both, and then decide?" You say, "No."
That's closed-minded of you, and juvenile. That's why people are blowing it out of proportion and thinking this is a contest-- it's not. It's advice.

lmao
That narrator dude makes killing innocent people and gruesome murder and blood seem like a happy walk through a park filled with lilly flowers. :D

I was expecting the narrator to also say "Bring the whole family!"
