Smooth collie fun

This is Pacina when she was a puppy, my mother was cleaning the floor and Pacina decided to make it into a game :P. She is really funny. Lucky, our other dog, a yorkie/cairn mix barks at her.

will someone please tell me how much smooth collies shed???

Yeup they do shed and this one quite a bit. she just stopped shedding and it lasted about 4 months this time... you have it twice a year, before and after winter. How long they shed actually varies per dog and also has to do with the temperatures. Rapid changes require a quick change to the "winter coat" but when the temperature chanes slowly, there is no need for that and so the shedding continues longer.

I'm curious, does she still do it? Mine is 10 years old now and still goes after the vacuum cleaner :D

Haha, no we taught her not to befre it turned into a real problem! ;) But she is going to a show this saturday so I hope that she does well :).

@klaverenvrouwke My smoothie, Jake, sheds constantly. Thank God we have wood floors and a hard working broom. On the flipside, we have to brush him much less than our rough coat mix.

PS: when I tell mine not to go after the vacuum cleaner he doesn't, but why shouldn't he have a little fun every once in a while :)
