South Florida has been wiped out as far as prices & the speculators are now moving up the state to the first coast thinking they would do better.
I would NEVER live in Springfield. It is the worst crime area in the whole city. Rich real estate idiots came in (around when Jax hosted the Superbowl) and bought the homes for under 100K, most under 50K & are now trying to get 300K. Porn shop row? It is death row! Some of the homes are nice but I would have to pick it up, place it somewhere far away.

St. Augustine's (St. Johns County) property tax is much higher than neighboring Jacksonville (Duval) or South of Jax, Clay. A 3M home in St. Johns would be 1.5 everywhere else and is better located.

haha they showed nothing of springfield because it's so ghetto there. who would ever move to springfield? sure the houses could be nice if you spent tons of money fixing them but i'd rather live where i can walk outside of my house without getting shot at.

The video clips in this are actually St. Augustine not the Springfield area of Jacksonville. St. Augustine, of course, is pretty, but Springfield has really great old houses, history and up and coming charm. I wish we could have seen them instead!
