I hung out in the village from 15 to 20 years old,at Hilley's.. that's was way back in the day,, later became c.b.g.b.s.. best time for cutting school,, went to D.H.S.in Jersey City,N.J. but the village was where it was at...

CB's was such a phenomenal place. I spent many nights there from about 1981 till closing..

CBGBS is now a trendy clothes store but it has some interesting pieces left over from cbs, also art on the walls of stars that played there, check it out when visiting NY. I was lucky i did get the chance to get my picture taken outside of cbs before it closed. Lets be honest most original famous clubs close down The Caven for one. but Liverpool they did open a new one. I think I heard that someone has most of the interior of cbs and they are planning to build a new cbgbs in Vegas some time.
