Cross Reference: 'Who Cares' - Just Witness E.P. 1993

One of my favourite songs for live performances, the lyrics to this one took shape after listening to the news on the radio as I drove home from work in April 1992. I felt so sad that this couple's marriage had ended with such a sudden death, after a fairytale start to their relationship. Although I received some fair and reasonable criticism about the chorus it was what I felt at the time; and having gone through considerable pain myself in recent years, I do still believe that God can deal with our pain in every situation we face. He might not take away the pain right now but there will come a day when he will wipe away every tear from our eyes. Then, he will take away the years of pain from every situation. Gavin Tyte's keyboard solos are out of this world - all respect goes to Tyte himself!
