LYRICS (by Michael Bolton and Martin Briley):
I never knew someone who made me
Feel so good before
But I never gave my heart to anyone
Who could hurt me more
And when you promise me that no one else
Will ever take my place
I get the feeling you're just leading me on
And lying right to my face

First you say you want me, then you say
You're leaving
I've gotta know
(I'm coming or going with you)
When ya say you need me
Do you really mean it
Maybe its true, I just wish I could believe it

Hot love, ya leave me so cold
But one touch and you've got me
Where ya want me
Hot love, ya leave me so cold
I don't know if I'm coming or going
There's no way of knowing with you
Oh

Just when I give it up the game
Is through and your heart is mine, yeah
I turn around, you're up to something new
Ya do it time after time after time

What's it gonna take to break this circle
I've gotta know
(Am I coming or going with you?)
And when ya hurt me, do ya really mean to
Ya say ya don't, I wish I could believe you

Hot love, ya leave me so cold
But one touch and you've got me
Where ya want me
Hot love, ya leave me so cold
I don't know if I'm coming or going
There's no way of knowing with you

You come on like a fire burning
And I'm lost in the flame
Over and over again

Hot love, ya leave me so cold
But one touch and you've got me
Where ya want me
Hot love, ya leave me so cold
I don't know if I'm coming or going with you

(Hot love)
Hot love
Hot love (Hot love)
Hot, hot, hot love, (hot love) baby
Got me where ya want me
(Hot love)
Got me where ya want (hot love)
Got me where ya want me
(Hot love)
(Hot love)
(Hot love)
(Hot, hot love)
(Hot love)
(Hot love)
Hot
(Hot love)
Oooh, hot love
(Hot love)
Hot love
(Hot love)

*[I am returning the rarities once again! This is the first song of a revived, five-part series. This time, each Saturday, through (at least) December 26th, 2009, I will be uploading a rare track from a CD in my personal collection. If y'all like what you hear, I will continue with the music and make sure that the sounds of the past will not be forgotten in the present and future. Thank you.]*

  • This was the first song i ever listened to in a CD

  • I, like many other it would seem, wish Bolton would have stayed with sining Melodic rock like this. He does a great job with the soul songs as well, but to me personally this music is a lot more fun than 70s soul.

  • @stonedcoldkitty If I have to be honest I prefer his 1st self-titled LP (1983)....

  • how the fook does this only have like 3000 views? my goodness people are pathetic at life

  • This was the only track I really liked on "The Hunger".

  • yeah smith7829 your right....best album ever from him.....i still get lost in his music....especially the hunger album...wish i could go back to those days..

  • brilliant track from a gr8 album - i used to listen to this all the time years ago. Such a shame Michael changed his style from this superb AOR to cheesy soul just a couple of albums after this. Still, 'the Hunger' will always be one of the best albums ever made IMHO

  • Great song. I always thought this should have been a single instead of "Wait on Love," but WOL had more of the R&B tinge that they were obviously pushing for Bolton.
