Izzy's Quest for the Olympic Rings Sega Genesis - hidden level select

A few months ago, Hacc found a Pro Action Replay code to activate a hidden level select in the options screen based on a comparison with the SNES version. The method to enable it through normal gameplay (if even possible) remained unclear, however, as the Genesis version has no hidden button cheat sequences while the game is paused.

It took a bit of research to figure this one out, but at last, success!

When you reach the platform at 1:32 in the video, hold down+C to do a long jump into the tree canopy directly above the vine. As you reach the height of your jump, hold C+A and keep holding those buttons until you appear out the other end of the shortcut. Proceed to lose all your lives to return to the title screen. The level select is now available in options!
