  • Jack,

I received my scope mount in the mail today, I am very pleased with the engineering. I checked my, much newer SW686 2 1/8" barrel and noticed the three screw holes. I purchased this for my 686 (no dash) 8 3/8" barrel (without checking for the three holes-stupidly on my part). two questions: 1, If I am in your area (I'm in sales and travel through PA sometimes, are you willing to drill and tap my gun? and 2, (if you are not), do the screws come with lock-tite already on them?

  • @phipsibobo I'm sorry, we don't do drilling and tapping here anymore. Luckily you don't need a gunsmith to do it, a machine shop in your area can probably handle the job. Thanks.

  • Hey there, do you have a base that will fit the S&W model 327 NG, 2 1/2 inch barrel? I only see the 4" on on your site. I think I need about a 2 1/2".

  • @1sgbrewer No I'm sorry we dont

  • @1sgbrewer No I'm sorry we dont

  • can i use this mount on my taurus model 66, if not do you know where i can find a mount for my taurus?

  • @deelow83 No, this mount doesn't fit the Taurus models, but we do make a mount for them. If you go to our website you will find them. Thanks

  • Jack,

Great video on the S&W revolver removal of factory site and addition of a Weaver site. Very simple. I have a stainless S&W model 66 / K frame and want to complete that very action to add a red dot and/or another scope. Where do I buy the correct size Weaver plate that you installed, using the very same S&W holes?

  • @nogames59 Yes, the gun you have is not factory drilled and tapped, they didn't start doing that until the 90s. The holes that you see in the gun are for attachment of the rear site assembly, they're not meant for attaching the mount. I hope this helps.

    Jack

  • I ordered minedirectly from the Weigland site. mine is earkier modle 617 22 cal. but the holes do not line up and are differant size, than the screws they sent! It sets in place real nice but iwill have to have holes drilled&tapped to use it!
