She was born in San Diego, California, her father is Filippino and her mother is of German and Irish descent, but she was raised in Japan from the age of three.

well actually the recording company of S.H.E hired Geo the lyricist of sweet box and for some reason he only give S.H.E the translations of some sweet box's song.. but chyna girl was S.H.E' song sweet box just make a cover..
