@hdmccart These people account for a small percentage of the Lebanese community. My family including my extended have never been entitled to welfare/Centrelink. We complete school, TAFE, Uni and get jobs and pay our taxes.

If you are innocent and have nothing to hide, what's the big deal about being stopped by the police every now and then? Wouldn't bother me if they stopped me once a week to search for stuff if it meant keeping my area safer. Police generally pull you over for more reasons that just the colour of your skin. Seriously, they'd prefer not to have the trouble. People have to stop playing the victim card. I agree that more social work is needed, but don't blame the police for your own bad behaviour.
