The desire to trivialize the momentous can hardly be considered a virtue.

I've seen three of Keira Knightley's movies over the span of these two days. I'm so fucking depressed right now! Amazing, fantastic actor!

It is actually a very symbolic shot, hinting that his death is near, since poppies are associated to fallen soldiers in British tradition.

No, neither. The director of a film doesn't look for extras, it was simply an add in the local paper for 25 extras wanted and another 25 from a local theater group. I didn't get a reply from the add so I called the theater group, they told me where to go. Got there, I was the biggest/fattest guy there, the only uniform that fitted was a sergeants. That was it. I should make a video about it.

Not with Keira but I did work with James McAvoy. It wasn't really exciting, you just have to take orders. It was good fun, you're put into a uniform (still have it), given a gun, free food, free cigarettes, done up in bloody make-up for £50 a day, who would say no to that?
