Defeating Gades for the first time, no statues! (lvl 22) part 1

hey everyone, this is the part 1 of my fight with gades it was tough, but really fun xD. One of this days my sister was playing lufia and i though, what the hell i'll play too xD, so i was basically just going through the game without leveling up, just getting the basics and stuff (so that it would be more challenging) and i got to gades with everyone at lvl 22, i didn't think i would beat him, but i managed somehow.

so yeah.. first of all i had to buff my party and debuf gades... menace and bravery work wonders here, also buffing maxim and guy with battle lust to improve the damage, i was actually impressed by maxim's damage after the buffing, basically he beat gades just by himself, just a little help from guy and selan.

second, fully healing everyone every turn, this is the basis of the strategy, because the party wouldn't withstand 2 destructo waves in a row (and tia had to be full to even withstand one xD) to do this, tia uses stronger with the mind ring, and either guy uses divine cure with the camu armor, or selan uses holy healing with the holy wings, and when there was a shortage of IP i had to use scattered strongs to maximize the effect... which actually worked pretty well.. except at the end when i almost get maxim killed because of a miscalculation xD.

So anyway here you go, hope you enjoy it, i don't own lufia, all the credit goes to the pertaining companies... but i did own gades, so enjoy it! XD
