  • STARERS...

Both Nick Clegg and Simon Hughes have dedicated "starers" standing by them staring into the camera.

Is this some kind of psychological techique to give their words more cred?

btw the burden of proof is on those who believe there is a global warming crisis: "Deniers" are not asking for us to give all our money to 3rd world countries. You "warmists" need to prove this properly!!! But you can't... So back to the drawing board for another manufactured crisis, guys. Alien invasion?

  • Then I'm sure you are avare of the "fact" we're told... 1 trillion tonns of CO2 emision equals to 1 degree warming. That will take us 30 years with our current emision. Look it up, it's told by the UN scientists. All the atmosphere combined equals to about 18 degree in warming. What we're emiting is so minimal compared to what's out there.Besides there have been times alot hotter than now, check 1000 years ago, it was alot hotter then.

Guess what plants breath, mr PhD

  • Climate is allot more advanced than CO2 alone, and heat on earth comes from the sun. However not all factors are equal, and I am pretty certain you could not begin to describe the complexities. By the way I am doing a PhD so please do not try and lecture me on the virtues of reading and analytical thinking.

  • sounds like the only source for your knowledge about this is Al Gore. Quotes like "Lets imagine that CO2 is not causing EVERYTHING".

I belive some reading wouldn't harm you. The climate is alot more advance than just CO2, ALOT more.

Acording to kyral210, CO2 - The cause of all heat on earth

  • You obviously know nothing of climate science, the scientific method or statistics. There really is no question about if the climate is changing, the debate is on what is causing the change, and that debate is Very one sided. Lets imagine that CO2 is not causing everything, these acts help reduce our dependence on oil, reduce the pollution in the air and help enable a stronger community, national and international collaborative spirit. if your wrong it will also help reduce global problems.

  • However, there is no way for me to write all the climate data here. all I did was to tell you guys to research.

The changes the last 100 years have been like a roller coaster, look at the graphs your self. And why is it that the earth was hotter in the 1960 then it any other time the last 100 years?

Just check out "hacked cru" and "climate gate" on google. check 30000 scientists while you're at it.

  • The answer is not a small same of climate change data but a large quantity. When climate change in the atmosphere takes 100 years to be observed in ocean trends, then a 5 year sample will tell you very little indeed. Also, remember our friends in the 'flat earth' believing circles.

  • You are grossly oversimplifying the issue of climate change. There is a huge amount of background scientific knowlege that allows the prediction of the effects of climate change. If you think that an observable change in temperature is the only evidence for climate change then you need to read up about it.
