  • This is how most patterns of flatware are made. The knife handle construction shown is certainly better than stamping out the knife from a sheet, or from drop forging. They could put a better knife blade in there, but most folks aren't willing to pay for that level of quality. The floral pattern shown during production was called "True Rose" by Oneida, sold for about $8 a setting, and was intended for mass consumption.
