After enrolling in Indianapolis Met, a public charter high school, in 2008, Ronnisha Davis' attitude soon became more and more defiant, and she was suspended for fighting in 2009. She left Indianapolis Met for a semester, citing the school's expectations as too high for her but remained connected with staff. When Ronnisha returned to Indianapolis Met in 2010, she made the decision to turn around her attitude and focus on her education. Today, she excels academically and is on track to graduate early. She will attend the University of Indianapolis this fall in the Bridge Scholars Program, which will provide her with a full-tuition scholarship for eight semesters.
