STATUESQUE The movement of the two Golden Bronze Statues in the animation was inspired by the work of Golden Power, two hand-balancing acrobatic artists. Web site here: http://www.golden-power.com/ The animated character of the Condemning Clown was provoked by negative comments on one of Golden Power videos on YouTube. The comments were remarkable for their bizarre seething venom and mental projections of disgust and condemnation. The Boy character's love and imaginative play with the statues comes from a story told by archeologist, John R. Hale, Ph.D., Director of Liberal Studies, University of Louisville, Kentucky. In Part 1 of the lecture, Classical Archeology of Ancient Greece an Rome, Dr. Hale tells the story of two life size bronze statues found in the sea off the coast of southern Italy called the Riace Warriors. The bronzes were statues of extraordinary workmanship. The people of the Italian village fell in love with il bronzi, considering them patron saints come back to them.
