In the mid 70's I watched The Mob run at Orange County Int'l Raceway. He got sideways like this too 1/3 down the track. It was the single best show of skill by a driver as his altered pitched sideways 3 times Off throttle On throttle each time, straightening it out at 1/2 track then full throttle to finish the run. The rear wheels even hopped off the ground. Fuel altered drivers have balls the size of watermelons. Top Fuel, Funny Cars and Fuel Altered's were the 3 Nitro classes back then.
