Education Revolution - USA

Students at the Bronx Lab School in New York are leading the way in the education revolution. NY Schools Chancellor Joel Klein happily takes credit for helping to bring about this change.

Bronx Lab has been a successful start in reforming NY schools. Their chancellor laid out clear plans and targets leaving each school to achieve them on their own merit. The people that want to help us realise that we are so much better than what our environment tells us to be. Last year saw their first graduation, where more than half the average graduated. Klein insists; We will never fix poverty in America until we fix education.

You fail to mention, both China and India have a far bigger population and by standard deviation, they are more likely to have more scientist by population alone. This is not directly related to US education system. Also, most scientist that have made it, go overseas to 1st world countries to have a better life therefor enriching countries like US. Has that ever occurred to you?

Not exactly, I mean "I have done" because I am still alive and still attending to schools. I cannot say" I have gone" to many different schools and then change to past saying "did" when I am talking about a continuous past, it is still happening, "I have done" just fine.

Miami Is not a bad place for school. Is the parents who teach the wrong meaning to kids about what learning should be. I've gone to many different schools in miami and I have done just fine.

education would be an easy fix, get teachers that care about students (like said in video) not lovey dovey but enough where the students have a "safe community" and nurturing eviroment, maslows hierarchy basically, also the parent need reinforce the idea that education = money = better quality of life = no more places like the bronx. the next generation is always the most important. then just take advantage of freeware and the internet and bam good2go.
