@TheMmorpgmaniac Let's clarify all of this, since some people appear to be either misled or confused.
The first game of the series was Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi (FE1). The third game is the one in this video, Monshō no Nazo (FE3), divided into two books. Book 1 was the remake of FE1, while Book 2 was the new game, acting as the sequel.
In 2008, FE1 was remade again as Shadow Dragon (FE11). FE3 received a remake very recently in Japan (FE12), but the remake is only based on Book 2.

This is the thing that I don't get about nintendo. Why would they not release these games for snes. They did so well in japan, other rpgs were doing great in america, and when fire emblem did come to america it did great.

hmmm...marth's first game was in 1990 and he was 14 then... It's now 2007 so marth is atually 31.
