Actually, thats not exactly true. Its made in California. I would know, the light is really good. If you want a chinese light, you would have to get the MagicShine one, but there are issues that this guy covers. But lights are expensive productions. The battery itself probably is 150 dollars worth of equipment alone. Remember that there isnt a big market, so the price also has to cover the researchcosts, and those can be pretty high.

Purchased the Niterider Minewt 250 cordless last week.. Really happy with it, extremely bright and needs no wiring! U guys should do a review of that!

prob only cost 20 or 30 dollars to make these when there mass produced.the rest is profit.
