Worlds Best Driving Roads: Norway, Hemsedal to Årdal to Tyin, part 2

Watch this one in HD ... Norway has some of the best driving roads in the world. This was a short drive we took while we were holidaying at Hemsedal. We drove from Hemsedal to Lærdal and on to Årdal to Tyin from the west coast fjords over the Norwegian high country. Unfortunately the weather was not great but the scenery was still spectacular and the roads great fun to drive. There are some much better roads in Norway, but this was one of the few I filmed.

ha ha ha :) Actually when driving on Ice / snow in conditions like that I like to stick to the middle of the road as much as possible, and take the inside of the corners as much as possible (gives you more runoff if you start to understear or slide). Many of those roads were basically sheet ice, dunno what happened to the salting trucks, but they were no where to be seen. Just ice with a bit of grit chucked down and some good winter tyres :)

Also a great road is the road from the exit of naustdaltunnellen to florø.. Best view when driving towards florø. Great views and the road is like a dream. All great corners you can take with at least 80kmph..

@Lindholmer5k no what he mean is roads without holes, driving inches from cliffs and un shoveled winter roads, and in norway we got a loooot of snow and ice on the roads. the only realy nice road is "Drammens vegen" the road closest to our capital. beacuse the govermet (stupid fu**s) thinks all the norwegian people live in oslo!!!

Norwegians road are worst roads in world allmost...even Sweden got better roads then us in Norway.. Goverment deny to use money to build good roads in Norway. It is i dont understand why.... every other countries build good roads but Norway never want too..
