What did you use to actuate your claw?

@MrTristanPlaysGuitar We used bilge pump motors, driving custom worm gears, which turn vEx gears. The open/close is done with a winch pulling the claw closed with fishing line, and springs open it. Rotating the claw is done with just the worm gear set. See web page link in video description for a little more info.

@jforb427 Yeah, I checked out your website. Next year I think my MATE ROV team will be using linear acuators (tv lifts) to open/close a claw. Still in the design phase though.
