It must have truly stung the British that their army of professional soldiers was defeated by farmers. Losing the American Revolutionary War surely is one of the British Empire's most embarrassing failures. :D

@silverhawkflash Yes, he was really tall andcouldn't stand the so called army that he was giving command he wrote I believe in his dairy or letter talking terrible about them the first day he saw them...you should get 1776 by David McCullough its a good read
