@blahblah999ash The problem is that almost all of them are taught to act a certain way, which loses the whole point of acting in the first place.

Yes, the budgets are not large enough, but the acting is just terrible, in general although there are exceptions. I've watched many Iranian movies as I spent half of my life there, and this movie was slightly above average. The attitudes portrayed are mostly thuggish and unrealistic.

@ninuxy I think you're selling them a little short, they definitely can act better than the average high-school drama student. My point is since Iranian movies don't have that much budget, it becomes the actor's duties to carry the movie by themselves, they become the focus and I believe that makes movie better and absorbing because of that. And with this movie I get that, I get the sense of struggle, pain, and intensity. I believe actors going through that process. Do you know what I mean?

@blahblah999ash Exactly, they are not properly trained, nor have the talent to remotely compete with their counter parts over seas.

Many even par in high school drama course level. Not to mention the equipments and the technologies which are widely outdated.

@ninuxy No, the actors in this movie carry themselves so well and play so beautifully. Most of the actors in Iran don't have enough access to acting classes and don't have the luxuries of hollywood actors and actresses have. So, they do the best with what they are given and they do it well. This movie proves my point.
