You know, you have a point, the 2005 season was great, but it was just a prelude to the 2008 grand finale season, which will probably be Penn State's last really awesome season for awhile, since the 2009 team will probably take a step back and go 9-3 or 10-2, and after the 2010 or 2011 season I have a feeling that JoePa will retire voluntarily after no longer being able to run out of the tunnel with the team, after that, I don't know. Penn State could get a real gem, or another Bill Callahan.
Why is it that only Michigan fans "remember" Joe putting time on the clock? I watched the entire game and only remember Lloyd lobbying fot time back. But even if the seconds WERE legitimate. Jason Avant's catch was out of bounds.
Haha, you're not wrong though -- Lloyd asked for time back with 30 seconds left, JoePa with 3:20 left. We're just saying that if you're going to say one of those had an impact on the outcome, so did the other.
i was at this game, unbelievable finish and atmosphere. Most people also forget the refs added 2 secs back on the clock which game the wolverines that last play to win it

Why is it that your team will probably beat ours by 30 points this year and you're still dwelling on the 2005 season?

Yeah, it was pretty unfortunate that JoePa argued for 2 seconds back with 3:28 left.

Most people also forget that JOE PATERNO got 2 seconds added back on the clock at the 3:28 mark.
Penn State simply had to do one of the following two things to win this game:
1. Not kick to Steve Breaston with 50 seconds left.
2. Stop Michigan from scoring a touchdown on 4th down with 1 second on the clock.
Either one would've prevented their loss. They failed at both. Touchdown Manningham!
