Metroid Prime 2 Echoes - Part 36

The Larva has been defeated, but now it's hatching to its adult form which is quite annoying. It will avoid any missile/super missiles you fire, and the Dark Beam is too slow. After dealing some damage, dark energy will consume it, being able to create offspring. Just shoot it with the Light Beam for major damage. If you're low on Light Ammo, use the Darkburst on the Chykklings for more Light Ammo (and some energy and missiles).

shoot a super missle to the red waves, its much easier than just missles, and it does hella much damage

I wished that I had thought of the Darkburst. It was so much easier and faster to get rid of the chyyling. I found that the manual targeting was easier to hit the Chykka. I just had to be aware of the Chykka's movement and the trajectory of the Power Beam. When I played it, it seemed to take awhile for me to kill this boss.
